Staying in Bruges

Bruges is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe, and it looks every bit as good as the photographs suggest. Canals, cobblestones, chocolate shops and Gothic architecture - all packed into a centre small enough to walk around in an afternoon. It is also home to some excellent beer, with several breweries right in town.

Day-trippers fill the streets by midday and leave by evening, so staying overnight gives you the quieter, more atmospheric version of the city. The hotels below are well-reviewed and listed at honest rates.
